Description

Much as I enjoyed Rarity's moment of discombobulature at the end of the previous issue, I decided to give her her normal style back, partly to explain why her only effort to recover the Crystal Heart from the thieves was to call Moon Moth, but mostly so I wouldn't have to do extra work on this page.  It's already hard enough trying to fit a horse onto a hoverbike.

In the planning stages, I debated whether I ought to do this encounter at all, but I eventually decided that it was important to show that Rarity isn't all talk. Plus, it's an opportunity to show how having Rainbow Dash's memories affects Skywishes, and Rainbow's other friends.

One thing I don't understand. Everyone wants to return the pup to Jabba. Neither side wants the Hutts -- sorry, the Mutts -- to be against them.

Apparently, the Mutts are sufficient to influence the outcome. If they choose to side with one side, that side is likely to win, and the war will end.

The Mutts do not want the war to end. Like the Moon family, they make money just by having the war exist. If there was no family issue, no family honor at stake, they would be happy to not side with either side over the other.

With this as the background, both sides would much rather that the pup was returned, and the Mutts were not involved.

Therefore, both sides would actually prefer to work together.
