Description

I rewrote this page (and a couple subsequent ones) at the last minute, having come to the conclusion that I'd done Captain Typhoon a huge disservice by ignoring him since the first issue.  It also seemed an appropriate moment to add a bit of ship tease with Sirocco (one of whose character traits was going to be 'has a thing for stallions in uniform', but I never had a chance to develop that before).

Release will continue to be slow for the next little while - as soon as I finished one of my other projects, someone decided to drop another in my lap, and I still don't have the script for my next issue written.  I may have to go back to on-the-spot spontaneity...

I mean, I wouldn't entirely rule it out. If you can identify that your opponent is resourceful enough that you can't realistically hold them, you might choose to stage a rescue to get a step ahead and plant your own agents.

Of course, if this were an elaborate trick, "Captain Typhoon" would need to exploit the situation pretty soon, since they'll only trust that he is who he appears to be until the next time he's out of their sight. That's the problem with being shapeshifters; once your enemies know what they're up against, it becomes extremely difficult to insert long-term double agents since everyone is subject to renewed suspicion every time they return to the group.
