Star Mares 3.4.8: ROYGBIV Alert

The jet scooter was originally created as part of a funny background event in volume 2 involving the Lovely Angels (since Kei was a pegasus and Yuri was a unicorn, and they both needed to fly in Cloud City), but it's seen use since then as one of the vehicles Redshift commandeered in The Admiral.  The design was based on a Wile E. Coyote gag (handlebars strapped to a jet engine), and the handlebar assembly was taken from Scootaloo's scooter, which I'd made for Spring Clean's poster.

I included a scene in one of the flashbacks of Rainbow not needing a breath mask during a space battle as a setup to this sequence.  Of course, that was at the height of her powers, and it's not at all good for her body, but if anypony was going to abuse supernatural resilience for a daring stunt, it would be Rainbow.
