Star Mares 2.4.18-19: The Last Lap

I don't want to shortchange the others, but it's hard for me not to think of this volume as predominantly Moontear's story. She's gone through the most changes of any character, most of which I hadn't even planned for in the beginning, and this a double whammy: coming to the realization that she's been wrong about pretty much everything she was certain of this whole time, and choosing to relinquish the one thing that she believes makes her unique.

I have to admit, I got a bit teary writing and drawing this page, and whenever I reread it.
