The Pone Wars 1.2: Stained Class

Fortuitously, the pages I've been working on this week didn't require as much scene building, so I was able to get two pages out in two days.  Don't get used to it

This page took an entire week.  It was a tricky set to build: I couldn't find a single screenshot that showed all of the throne, so I had to cobble it together from three different ones at vastly different scales.  The view of the hall took another two days, mostly trying to figure out how to do a chequer pattern in Affinity and eventually settling on doing it in Inkscape instead.  The stained glass was a bit of a challenge, as Affinity doesn't have a perspective tool yet, but Inkscape balked at the number of vertices in Rainbow Dash's armored model.  Rarity was completely rebuilt as well with a thinner body model and the correct eyes.

I almost forgot that Applejack was supposed to be coughing all through this page, so I had to go back and fix it about six weeks later. I also recently went through and fixed Pinkie's coloring to be more show-accurate (prompted by the realization that my Twilight was insufficiently purple, and that the others were probably similarly afflicted).

The purpose of this page in the narrative is to establish that the Pone Wars are essentially a proxy spat between Rarity and Applejack.  In real life, its purpose was to give me more time to think of who my POV characters were going to be, since like the first time around, I didn't really develop them until it was time for them to appear.
