Star Mares 2.1.11: Unconscionable Objection

It cannot be stressed enough that Cookiecutter is not at all nice.  Or that Spring Clean is weird and collects weird things.  Or that Maple Leaf is, apparently, a glutton for punishment given that she's still Spring Clean's roommate.

I wrote this page shortly after seeing Episode VII, with which (as I've mentioned before) I was not terribly impressed - however, I did really like Maz Kanata, to the point that I decided that even if the rest of that storyline never puts in an appearance, she at least exists in my 'verse (although I have yet to figure out what kind of hoofed quadruped she actually is).  How, exactly, the Imperial Academy weapons mistress has good enough relations with an ex-pirate queen to use her as a message drop for her Rebel sister is a story probably best left for the imagination.

Unfortunately for those of you who like Maple and/or Gracenote best, we'll be leaving them behind now for a few issues.  I found on the previous volume that trying to find something relevant for all six to do was more work than actually writing and drawing was, so I decided to focus on the three latecomers (plus Wind Whistler).  Don't worry, they'll be back eventually
